Kadesh Simms Conroy
Managing Director
Kadesh Simms Conroy has transcended many borders in her lifetime. Her first came while leaving her birthplace, Kingston, Jamaica, and arriving in the United States at the age of 10. She grew up in Boston’s neighborhood of Roxbury and attended Boston Public Schools, becoming the first in her family to attend college.
She received her MBA and Bachelors with a concentration in Human Resources Management and Information Systems at Northeastern University. While at Northeastern, she was awarded the New England Human Resource Professional Excellence Award.
Kadesh’s people strategy and leadership development experience began with her role as HR Generalist for Novartis Pharmaceuticals and Explorica (an educational travel company for students). She became the national Human Resources Director for the B.E.L.L. (Building Educated Leaders for Life) Foundation in 2015 and, in 2017, became Global Vice President of Human Resources for Ivy Gate International Education Group, a leading higher education management company based in Shanghai, providing post-secondary preparation services to college-bound students in China and the United States.
In addition to her work with IvyGate, Kadesh has extensive international business experience, beginning with an Economic Development internship in China and the former Czech Republic in the aftermath of the global recession. While in China, Kadesh spoke with private companies in Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Hong Kong.
Kadesh has earned several accolades as a top-tier competitive collegiate orator, winning the Dean Roland Latham Oratory Competition in three consecutive years during her career at Northeastern University. While at Northeastern, she also served in leadership capacities within a local chapter of the nation’s first African American sorority, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Kadesh launched The Wellspring Group to develop a variety of human resources solutions for social enterprises, nonprofit organizations, educational institutions in collaboration with her husband, Chris Conroy.

Chris Conroy
Partner, Education Director
Chris is a former middle and high school teacher, project management professional, and racial equity trainer.
He holds a Bachelors degree in Law, Jurisprudence and Social Thought from Amherst College. He is also a certified Facilitative Leader and Talent Optimization Consultant.
Since 2013, Chris has been building customized project management and hiring tools for organizations looking to effectively implement change management as well as diversity, equity, and inclusion processes.
He is married to Kadesh, and they live on the South Shore of Massachusetts with their four children, where Chris enjoys gardening and carpentry.
